LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful player of all-time and often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James won two Olympic golds, as well as four NBA titles. James is an NBA All-Star and has most points in playoffs, with the second most points in his career total and the seventh best career assist total. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a potential NBA superstar. In 2003 his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. In 2004, he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly was one of the league's best players, and won the NBA MVP award in 2009 and the year 2010. James was a free agency following his failure to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent moves in sports history.
