Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February 1994, he's the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own group of musicians with 3 schoolmates, which he identified as the White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they were winners. He was always interested in music but always wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. He worked in a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. For that reason his band were forced to split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles could be part of a future band that would be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation began in 2010 when the five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the competition, which allowed them to be among the leaders. But they finished in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nonetheless paid two millions of pounds One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
