Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. In the early years of his life the father of her mother became obsessed by theater. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. After joining the airforce In 1953, he starred in an air force production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their first baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the Air Force of the United States. Walter was hired to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies, which aired in Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television show named Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded themselves. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. During this time they had two more kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
