Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is most well-known for her part on House on Fox. After being raised by Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in theater at Tisch. But very soon she was involved in the city's club scene and made enough noise that she was recognized by the media, simultaneously, she became conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. The singer used her training in music and fame to write and perform in a musical of her own, Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show she hosted for MTV was soon her job. Following the end of the series her appearances began in television and film productions, at first in small roles, and slowly established herself as an actor.
